Mr. José da Silva was born in 1910 from a family with professional roots in agriculture.
In 1949, together with two sons, decided to open “Oficina de Calçado” a traditional small shoe factory and started to produce leather sandals that were sold to the fishermen of nearby success was huge mainly to best fitting leather superior quality, small attention to the detail. From there the commitment to quality, conform, and top craftsmanship are till today core values of the shoe making in the traditional way.
Since then, many years passed and now 3rd generation carry on the legacy and reach for worldwide presence of family’s special handcrafted shoes.
Sandals, Mocassins, Blake stitched, Strobel, Good year welted or even ‘stitch and turn’ confort shoes gave us strong knowledge and prestige in the market.
