DBVW Architects is an award-winning full-service architectural firm located in Providence, Rhode Island and doing work throughout the Northeast. Our staff of 32 people includes 10 Registered Architects and 10 LEED Accredited Professionals. We design inspiring and engaging places for people to live, learn, work and play. Since the firm’s founding in 1994, DBVW has understood that investing in creativity is a business decision for our clients. From the start, we help clients make informed decisions at a comfortable pace by communicating as simply, clearly and effectively as the buildings we design.
Architecture, Design and Construction
Architects design buildings and the spaces around buildings. They work for individuals, companies and governments, from small scale projects like private houses to large scale projects like office complexes and shopping centers. Architects do not only design the building itself, but also the landscape around it, from how the building will be positioned on the plot and how it will interact with its surroundings. Architects also need to consider the purpose of the building, the materials used for its construction and the impact the building will have on its environment.
