The architect and urbanism firm George Moreno & Partners has its beginnings over 60 years ago with the Architect Ernesto de la Guardia III. The Architect Ernesto de la Guardia III is a well known designer that made important projects in the 50s and 60s such as the Legislative Palace, The Hotel La Siesta and Yacht and Fish Club to name a few. Then joins in partnership with the Architect George Moreno II with whom he shared the rest of his career since 1969 winning the contest of the new Club Union in Punta Paitilla until his retirement in 1995.
Ernesto De la Guardia III and George Moreno II shared a successful career for nearly three decades participating in major projects that occurred in Panama such as the complete design of the Contadora Island in the archipelago of Las Perlas, The Hotel Bambito, The Club Golf of Panama and the Headquarters of the National Bank of Panama; all winners of design awards grant-ed by the Panamanian Society of Architects and Engineers.
