Medha Charitable Trust was founded in 2006 by Medha Servo Drives Pvt. Ltd. as a corporate social responsibility arm of the company. Medha Charitable Trust aims to uplift the people of India by providing quality education to economically backward students. It believes that no young talent should go waste due to lack of resources and that if we help one person to get educated, their family and the future generations of their families will have the ability and desire to become educated. The organisation has so far provided educational books to over 22 lakh students in India and is currently sponsoring over 150 students for high school and graduate education. The organisation receives funds from Medha Servo Drives Pvt. Ltd. Over 500 volunteers participate in the programs conducted by the organisation each year.
