MRI is based in Houston, TX and has locations in Denver, CO and St. Clair, MI. We are a government contracting company that supports NASA, NASA contractors, the Department of Defense, and commercial companies by providing engineering, project management, information technology, and administrative support. MRI is also classified as an 8(a) business by the Small Business Administration and is woman owned.
Mathematical Research Incorporated was our initial company name. We were started in the late 1960’s to support NASA in doing rocket trajectory models with only a handful of employees. Since then, NASA and MRI have evolved and grown. In 1988, we incorporated under our current leadership. Today, we support many diverse projects such as the International Space Station, NASA’s Constellation Program, and the Department of Defense’s TACOM program.
