Urban Edge Planning (formally DGK Planning Consultancy) was formed in 2006 by Danika Cowie (Kuhn), after working for local governments throughout Queensland, planning consultancy firms throughout South East Queensland and developers in Far North Queensland over the past 10 years.
Architecture, Design and Construction
Architects design buildings and the spaces around buildings. They work for individuals, companies and governments, from small scale projects like private houses to large scale projects like office complexes and shopping centers. Architects do not only design the building itself, but also the landscape around it, from how the building will be positioned on the plot and how it will interact with its surroundings. Architects also need to consider the purpose of the building, the materials used for its construction and the impact the building will have on its environment.
