Voices Together

Voices Together is a highly effective and specialized music therapy program that helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities improve their socialization, self-expression, and communication skills. Our goal is to provide individuals with developmental disabilities an innovative program that would increase critical communication and social/emotional skills that support independence and self-advocacy. The unique model is set in a natural and spontaneous social environment so success comes easy. Using music as a tool, the educational and therapeutic techniques are seamlessly embedded into the program. Our programs include: Voices Together in the Community Parents and care providers can enroll children, teens and adults in weekly educational/therapeutic group sessions. Voices Together in Education Voices Together in Education, is the largest provider of music therapy services to NC public school special education classrooms. Since 2008, we have served more than 600 special educa
