בנק ישראל הוא הבנק המרכזי של מדינת ישראל. הבנק נוסד בשנת 1954, ומקום מושבו בירושלים - בקריית בן גוריון, בקרבת משכן הכנסת, בית המשפט העליון ומשרדי הממשלה. סניף נוסף של הבנק פועל בתל אביב (ברחוב לילינבלום). שלוחה של הפיקוח על הבנקים, המופקדת על ביקורת התאגידים הבנקאיים, ממוקמת אף היא בתל אביב (ברחוב יבנה).
