广东省建工设计院成立于1988年10月，隶属于国家特级企业广东省建筑工程集团有限公司，具有建筑工程设计甲级、城市规划乙级编制资质，本院设计力量雄厚，设计配套齐全，技术设备先进。现有员工156人，其中专业技术人员138人（高级工程师48人，一级注册建筑师12人，一级注册结构师20人，注册规划师6人，建筑师、工程师60人，助理工程师30人）。内部设有八个设计所和总工室、行政办公室等。本院专业范围包括建筑设计及规划、室内装饰设计、结构、基坑、暖通空调、给水、排水、电气照明、消防等。本院以“实用、经济、美观”为设计指导原则，坚持“信誉、服务、效益”的企业精神。二十多年来，共完成工程设计二千多项，建筑面积约4000万平方米。本院连续十七年获得广东省工商主管部门授予“重合同、守信用”单位称号，设计院取得质量管理、环境管理、职业健康安全体系国际标准认证。
