818 ENTERTAINMENT is a Auckland based publicity agency focusing on making large amounts of noise in the entertainment space.
Since its launch in 2014, 818 ENTERTAINMENT has lead the charge in publicising and executing some of New Zealand’s biggest film, TV and live event projects. In 2016 818 ENTERTAINMENT publicised New Zealand’s biggest grossing film; Taika Waititi’s adventure comedy ‘Hunt for the Wilderpeople’, worked on the release of David Farrier’s controversial documentary ‘Tickled’ as well as the release of the celebrity cookbook ‘Cooking 4 Change’ and is promoting New Zealand’s longest running 3-day music festival ‘Rhythm and Vines’.
2017 is already shaping up to be even bigger as we take the lead on local film features ‘Pork Pie’, ‘Gary of the Pacific’ and the supernatural teen thriller ‘The Changeover’ as well as major TV productions Filthy Rich and Dirty Laundry alongside a range of high profile live event projects.
