A ABSA Cargo Airline iniciou suas operações como uma empresa aérea cargueira de voos não-regulares em 02 de Junho de 1995, utilizando um DC-8-71F em rotas internacionais. Bogotá, Caracas, México e Miami foram seus principais destinos.
Em agosto de 2001, foi designada “Empresa Aérea Regular de Bandeira Brasileira“, pelo DAC – Departamento de Aviação Civil, passando a operar voos regulares domésticos e internacionais. Hoje, a ABSA possui designação para efetuar voos regulares para os EUA, Chile, Colômbia, Peru, Equador, Argentina, Panamá, Paraguai e Alemanha.
Nos últimos 14 anos, a ABSA expandiu suas operações e atendeu mais de 35 destinos internacionais e 10 destinos domésticos.
