Advancing Excellence In Long-term Care Collaborative

The Advancing Excellence in Long-Term Care Collaborative (AELTCC) assists stakeholders of long-term care supports and services to ensure that each individual who receives these services achieves the highest practicable level of physical, mental and psychosocial well- being. The AELTCC’s major initiative is the Advancing Excellence in America’s Nursing Home Campaign, a national campaign to improve the quality of life and quality of care for the country’s 1.5 million nursing home residents. The campaign is led by a coalition of long-term care providers, caregivers, medical and quality improvement experts, government agencies and consumers. It builds, complements, and strengthens the work of existing quality initiatives including the National Nursing Home Quality Care Collaborative, QAPI and the culture change movement.
