Africa Affordable Medicines Ltd. (AAM) is a pharmacy franchise venture, focused on improving the availability, accessibility and affordability of quality medicines at the end-user/patient level in Uganda. Our mission is to close the gap in transport, distribution and the use of medicines and medical supplies that currently exists between Kampala and upcountry end-users and patients. We do this by providing equal pricing throughout the country, reducing stock-outs and expiry, and offering a more comprehensive range of health related services. AAM operates a network of franchised Community Pharmacies located throughout Uganda that are linked together and supported by a central hub, which is located in Kampala. At present our network consists six Community Pharmacies located in Kampala, Mukono, Naalya, Soroti, Gulu and Kagadi.
