AIESEC is present at 2,400 universities in +120 countries and facilitates +22,000 international volunteering placements and +6000 professional internships per year. It is entirely student run by its 70,000 student committee members and has been so since its foundation in 1948.
As a registered charity in the UK we facilitate the development of responsible global leaders through providing our members with a self-driven practical learning experience. As an association, we envisage peace and fulfillment of humankind's potential.
We have been active in the UK since 1954 and our national association comprises local offices run out of 35 of the country's most reputable universities by over 800 student committee members. We boast a national following of over 50,000 affiliate members.
The organisation is managed in full by a staff of up to 10 students and recent graduates whom have been elected to hold a one-year term based out of our national office in Old St., London.
