Alacris Theranostics GmbH (Alacris) is a company based in Berlin, founded by scientist from the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics (MPI-MG) and specialised in developing new approaches in personalised medicine for cancer patient diagnosis, treatment and drug stratification. Alacris uses next generation sequencing technologies coupled with computational modelling of tumour and somatic tissues in order to indentify individualised therapies for cancer patients. These technologies are also used to help pharmaceutical partners stratify patients for their clinical trials. Alacris has an exclusive worldwide commercial license for the computational modelling of tumours and somatic tissues using the Modelling System ModCellTM, a technology developed with MPI-MG.
