AME Consulting Engineers (AME) is a Small Business Enterprise and Federal HUBZone Certified consulting engineering firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Founded in 2006, AME’s team of professionals offers Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), and Telecommunications engineering services for a diverse range of project types and clients.
Our engineers and designers specialize in the functional systems that reside in buildings, and have successfully implemented these systems in over 750 projects nationwide, ranging in size from $75,000 to $54M. In fact, over 80% of our work revolves around complex renovations of existing facilities with an emphasis on sustainability, energy efficiency, and conservation. Our overall mission is to provide professional engineering services that are complete, accurate, within budget, and meet even the most aggressive design schedules.
