Mission
We build cooperation networks among different countries to strengthen local projects with volunteers that work with professionalism and social awareness. Our work seeks to improve the quality of life of the poorest and most excluded people of the Americas and to promote social integration and solidarity throughout the continent.
Overview
América Solidaria (AS) is an international network in the Americas. Founded in 2002 in Chile, and with offices in Bogota, Colombia; Port au Prince, Haiti; Lima, Peru; Montevideo, Uruguay; and Washington DC, U.S.; America Solidaria promotes effective volunteer engagement in the countries of the Americas.
As one of the very few Latin American nonprofit organization that alleviate poverty outside of its borders, we improve the quality of life for individuals living in poverty and promote integration and solidarity in the Americas by engaging highly qualified professional fellows to work on community programs with a focus on health, education and economic opportu
