Constituted as a special autarchy, ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency) is the Mauritanian regulatory agency responsible for the regulation, safety and security oversight of Mauritanian civil aviation.
The National Civil Aviation Agency (A.N.A.C) was created in 2004 by the decree number 2004-079
Our Mission :
Achievement of the policy of the state in the civil aviation.
Promotion of the civil aviation in Mauritania.
Implementation of a technical regulation in conformity with the norms of the International Organization of the Civil Aviation.
Implementation and development of a civil aviation strategy under the government’s instructions.
Negotiation of the international agreements in the air transport sector.
Negotiation of other agreements through a special mandates allowed by the government.
The application and control of the current national laws and the international conventions signed by the Mauritanian government
