Arca is an award-winning architectural practice based in Manchester, UK. Since 1998 they have excelled at a wide range of design projects from signage to major bridges, from listed buildings to landmark new buildings, across England. All are particular and bespoke, with a strong conceptual rigour underpinning practical problem-solving. Led by John Lee, they have as their philosophy a concern for the interests of the human being in the process and product of architectural design. Architecture, Design and Construction

They work for individuals, companies and governments, from small scale projects like private houses to large scale projects like office complexes and shopping centers. Architects do not only design the building itself, but also the landscape around it, from how the building will be positioned on the plot and how it will interact with its surroundings. Architects also need to consider the purpose of the building, the materials used for its construction and the impact the building will have on its environment.
