BIRM, Beijing Institute of Radio Measurement, was founded in 1958 and has over 2500 employees of which more than 1500 are researchers.
BIRM specializes in the research, design, manufacture and service of electronic information systems and is capable of providing customers with products and solutions in many areas such as precision measurement radar, imaging radar, early warning detection radar, meteorological radar and upper air sounding system based on satellite navigation.
