Bethel is a non-profit organization running 2 projects in China: The "Love is Blind Project" , and "Project 555." Bethel is the first and only dedicated organization which targets the Chinese blind and visually impaired orphan population.
Bethel's main site; the Love is Blind village provides education, fostercare, vocational training and therapy to 60 visually impaired chinese orphans. Situated on 20 acres of land it features an organic farm, training center, gym, swimming pool, and school.
“Project 555” offers medical screenings, training and resources for the blind and visually impaired to orphanages throughout the provinces of China. This project aims to widen the scope of operation of the Bethel Foundation in China.
