BiosYnth Research Laboratories is a biotech Company focused on the discovery of novel synthetic and semi-synthetic molecules for application as human vaccines in the prevention of serious bacterial diseases like Invasive Pneumococcal Diseases (IPD) and Bacterial Meningitis due to pneumococcal and meningococcal infections. The Company was founded in 1988 by Dr. Massimo Porro on the basis of his pioneering activity in the design and industrial development of CRM 197-based glycoconjugate vaccines for the prevention of bacterial meningitis in infants and young children due to Gram-negative and Gram-positive encapsulated bacteria.
