BKE Shelf Ltd. is an offshore drilling contractor providing a full range of integrated well construction services in the Caspian Sea.
BKE Shelf employs over 250 staff to offer a complete spectrum of offshore well construction services tailored to our customers' needs. Headquartered in Astrakhan (Russia), the Company also maintains an official representative office in Moscow, and branch offices in Kazakhstan (Aktau) and Turkmenistan (Ashgabat).
The Company’s Health, Safety and Environment and Quality systems are certified in compliance with industry and international standards and quality management system ISO 9001:2008. BKE Shelf is also a member of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC).
The Company currently operates the ASTRA jack-up drilling rig, which has been active in the Caspian Sea since 1999. The American Bureau of Shipping is the maritime certifying authority for the ASTRA.
