The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City has served as a leader in youth development programming and advocacy efforts for urban youth for more than a century. The Clubs provide access to life-changing programs, resources, opportunities and experiences in safe, secure environments to the young people who need us the most on a daily basis. Nearly 1,000 young people walk through our of our five Club sites every day and we serve nearly 8,000 unduplicated members annually. The Clubs are truly a beacon of hope in some of our community’s toughest neighborhoods.
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City is to promote the development of self-esteem, values, and skills for boys and girls, ages 5-18, with special emphasis on youth from disadvantaged circumstances. The vision of the organization is to be the leader in providing developmental opportunities for significant numbers of youth.
