Joint Stock Company Cēsu alus is the largest brewery producing beer in Latvia. This rapid development began 10 years ago, when its market share was 2 - 3 %, but in 2015 the average market share reached 26% of Latvia beer market.
Since 2001, 40 million EUR have been invested in the company’s development and the expansion of the manufacturing complex, 10 million EUR from this in 2008 – for installing a canning/packaging line which is the most modern and most powerful in the Baltic States. Such investments in food production in Latvia are among the largest in this century.
Besides these investments, another essential basis for the company's success is its attractive marketing and a focused team. The company has the leading reputation in Vidzeme, best employer and one of the largest tax payers in the region.
