Canadian Western Trust (CWT), acquired by Canadian Western Bank (CWB) in 1996, has been offering trustee and custodial solutions to financial advisors, corporations and individuals since 1987. With over $9.5 billion in assets under administration, we operate in two distinct business units: Self-Directed Plans, and Corporate and Group Services.
Servicing more than 1,300 client appointments, Corporate and Group Services provides trustee, custody and record-keeping services to brokerage firms, pension plans, investment managers, endowments and other investment pools. We act as bare trustee for more than 300,000 plans for IIROC, MFDA and investment firms.
Acting as trustee for more than 55,000 plans, Self-Directed Plans provides a full range of trustee and custody services for independent financial advisors, mortgage brokers, individuals and group RRSPs.
