Founded in 1971, CHOICE - Concern for Health Options: Information, Care, and Education - increases access to accurate information and essential services concerning reproductive, sexual, and family health, empowers people through education and counseling, and provides all of these services with empathy and respect.
We maintain an extensive and rigorously updated database of medical and social service providers in the region; our staff constantly updates the content and style of our materials. Our Medical Advisory Committee, comprised of physicians, nurse practitioners, and public health experts, reviews the accuracy of all CHOICE materials on a regular basis. CHOICE staff is trained extensively in short-term crisis counseling, human sexuality, reproductive health, sexually transmitted infections, and HIV/AIDS information. Some of our services include:
• Confidential/anonymous Hotlines which are staffed by extensively trained professional counselors
