Ciloa develops monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against challenging targets such as GPCR, Kinase Receptors, Ion Channels and more. Ciloa is an innovative company with a proprietary technology that provides fully native transmembrane proteins on natural nanovesicles called exosomes. Exosomes are tailored to express any type of membrane proteins with single or multi-transmembrane domains at high concentrations, embedded in a membrane and with their fully native conformation and natural post-translational modifications (glycosylation, multimerization, cleavage, etc...). The success of the technologies used to develop therapeutic mAbs is entirely dependent on the availability of a fully native antigen. For membrane protein receptors, this is really challenging. The disruptive technology of Ciloa allows breaking open this lock. Moreover Ciloa helps in drug screening, immunotherapy, diagnostic and vaccine development.
