The Coalition for Responsible Community Development (CRCD) is a youth-centered nonprofit community development corporation in South Los Angeles.
Mission & History
Our mission is to better sustain, coordinate, and improve local planning, development, and community services that address the needs of low-income and working class residents and small businesses of South Los Angeles. Our work is rooted in a philosophy of coalition-building and collaboration with residents and other stakeholders to jointly create lasting impact in the community.
We focus on three program areas:
Neighborhood and Community Beautification
Youth Development
Housing and Economic Development
Founded in January 2005 by neighborhood residents and community leaders, our goal is to strengthen the economic vitality of South Los Angeles and improve the quality of life for youth and the community.
