Computer Pals Blacktown offer accessible and affordable computer classes, conducted in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, where participants achieve their goals and at the same time find learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Our vision is to promote the development of competent, confident and connected members, empowered to enrich their lives by taking advantage of the benefits that flow from becoming skilled computer users. Our hope is to minimise social isolation, particularly for the elderly and people that have limited mobility, by motivating members to use their newly acquired computer skills to remain active, informed and engaged family and community members. Through mutual respect, compassion, integrity and trust, our dedicated tutors and trained volunteers help people gain confidence by learning computer skills.
