With the need to unite Design students from across the country, in 1991 southern brazilian university students idealized the National Conference for Design Students, NDesign. Since then, the event is held each year in a different city and in 2014 the city is Goiânia. NDesign is an itinerant and annual event of academic, scientific, cultural and political character. It's a non-profit organization that promotes integration between design students and deepens the critical debate among scholars of the area in various sectors of society.
The conference is organized by students who are linked to a base entity and currently its the largest design event in the country and one of the largest in Latin America, bringing together 2,500 people on average. Each NDesign is free in thematic, structural and objective questions, leaving to the current committee the entire organizational logistics of the event.
