Conserf is an independent heritage management consultancy focusing on the preservation of monumental buildings in Europe. Our core tasks are the drafting of maintenance schemes and budgets, historical and structural assessments and research, supervising restoration works and we offer advice to owners of monumental buildings.
Conserf’s strong point is the fact that we combine numerous specialists in a multidisciplinary team, comprising of highly trained and skilled architectural historians, art historians, interior specialists, structural engineers and building inspectors.
Architecture, Design and Construction
Architects design buildings and the spaces around buildings. They work for individuals, companies and governments, from small scale projects like private houses to large scale projects like office complexes and shopping centers. Architects do not only design the building itself, but also the landscape around it, from how the building will be positioned on the plot and how it will interact with its surroundings. Architects also need to consider the purpose of the building, the materials used for its construction and the impact the building will have on its environment.
