Content studio was founded in 2005 by Architect and Interior Designer Mat Foley. The studio works across the fields of architecture, interior design, and spatial graphics, to provide integrated design solutions with a focus on the user experience and a clients engagement with the built environment .
Based in Fitzroy, Melbourne the student is currently working on public and residential projects including:
. The interiors of a new Visitor Centre in the Fitzroy Gardens for the City of Melbourne
. An Australian Grassland Building at Weribbee Open Range Zoo
. The Brunswick Montessori Children's House
. A masterplan for the Yarra Community Youth Centre
. The Burnley Nackayard Community Centre for Yarra council
. and numerous residential projects including a country house in Trentham
Architecture, Design and Construction
Architects design buildings and the spaces around buildings. They work for individuals, companies and governments, from small scale projects like private houses to large scale projects like office complexes and shopping centers. Architects do not only design the building itself, but also the landscape around it, from how the building will be positioned on the plot and how it will interact with its surroundings. Architects also need to consider the purpose of the building, the materials used for its construction and the impact the building will have on its environment.
