The Advisory segment offers advisory services; and risk management tools, analytics, and solutions to financial institutions. The company provides research support services to investment research, sales and marketing, client analytics, digital marketing, and portfolio analytics, as well as services related to debt and hybrid indices. It also offers analytics and data to the capital and commodity markets. The company was formerly known as The Credit Rating Information Services of India Limited and changed its name to CRISIL Limited in December 2003. CRISIL Limited was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Mumbai, India. CRISIL Limited is a subsidiary of S&P Global Inc.
