Culpitt Ltd is the leading UK wholesale supplier and manufacturer of cake decorating and sugarcraft products to trade customers.
We sell to customers ranging from small independent retailers to large scale manufacturing bakeries. We also export our products to a wide range of markets including many European countries, the U.S.A. and Australia. Everything we do is driven by a clear focus on providing quality products and excellent customer service.
We are a successful business that has grown significantly in recent years. In 2012 we were awarded the “Queens Award for Enterprise” in recognition of continued export success over several years.
The business was founded in 1921 by the Culpitt family, moving to our current base in Ashington, in the North East of England, in 1947. In this area, we found a very capable workforce who helped to build a competitive business which is now one of the biggest employers in the area. In many cases, several generations of the same family have been employed at Culpitt.
