D&V Electronics of Toronto, Canada designs and manufactures electric powertrain testers, alternator and starter testers for endurance, laboratory and end-of-line production testing. D&V’s EPT series are leading edge testers for the testing of HV/EV motors and inverters/controllers. Recent projects include inverter durability testers for a state of the art, triple-output inverter. This system included three motors with loads on each, thermal chambers and liquid cooling to allow full simulation of vehicle drive cycles.
D&V’s alternator and starter testers are sold throughout the world to Tier One manufacturers including Remy, Bosch, Valeo and Denso. D&V leads the world in test equipment for the alternator and starter remanufacturing industry.
