Developmental Pathways is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency, supporting over 5,500 individuals with intellectual disabilities and developmental delays, such as autism and Down syndrome in Arapahoe and Douglas Counties and the city of Aurora.
For 50 years Developmental Pathways has provided supports ranging from case management and basic needs to 24/7 full time care. Of our 5,500, there are approximately 2,200 clients waiting for additional/alternative resources and funding. We also have an additional 3,200 client who do not currently receive any services who are actively seeking assistance for resources and funding.
Developmental Pathways was originally established in 1964 as a community-based alternative to institutional care. Since that time, Developmental Pathways has developed a broad array of services based on our mission to enrich the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities and developmental delays by providing opportunities to lead a meaningful life.
