The Dublin Chinese New Year Festival (DCNYF), established in 2008, is committed to celebrating Sino-Irish relations showcasing Chinese culture and heritage to a new and wider audience in Ireland while promoting Sino-Irish integration.
2012 celebrates the Year of the Dragon and marks the fifth year of this internationally recognised festival. As Dublin celebrates twinning with Beijing, the festival prepares to deliver a high profile cultural programme including Film, Opera, Dance, an Arts & Crafts Children’s Programme, Sino Irish Business Seminar, Dublin City of Science Seminar, a Lecture series, Chinese Porcelain antiques road show, The main DCNYF carnival and a number of entertainment evenings.
