Eczacıbaşı-Monrol Nükleer Ürünler (Eczacibasi-Monrol Nuclear Products), leads the development of the Turkish nuclear medicine market with the production of high-quality radiopharmaceuticals. In 2001, Monrol, has started the production of F18 FDG which is required for the PET imaging, and continued domestic investments in Ankara, Adana, Izmir, Istanbul, Antalya and Malatya, between 2006-2012. Additionally Eczacıbaşı-Monrol produces variety of radiopharmaceuticals for SPECT imaging.
From July 2008, Monrol Nuclear Products and Eczacıbaşı Pharmaceuticals have become a 50:50 joint venture. Regarding this agreement company was named Eczacibasi-Monrol Nuclear Products.
Eczacıbaşı-Monrol continues its growth abroad, opening manufacturing facilities in Romania and Egypt in 2012, also operating cyclotrones in UAE and Kuwait. New facilities are planned to be opened in Bulgaria, Jordan and Poland in 2014.
