This enterprise was directly born out of new tensions being sensed by entrepreneurs deeply committed to the journey of fully and systemically distributing organizational authority. First Game-changing practices like Holacracy® gave us new ways of distributing authority and differentiating the work in pursuit of a shared organizational purpose. Next came emerging models for dynamically distributing profits and equity, inspiring new ways to think about investing, ownership, and earning a living. Now we see wholeness, transparency, and autonomy are baseline expectations when contributing time, energy, and talent towards a purpose greater than oneself.
