ECC advises the largest companies in the North America on the securitization of emission offsets, with a focus on carbon credits for compliance under the California Cap and Trade system. Our primary clients are entities that must reduce emissions internally or acquire emission offsets to satisfy regulatory obligations. ECC’s scope of services include due diligence on acquisitions and other transactions, direct investment and acquisition of offset projects and development of projects on behalf of clients.
ECC works with unregulated companies in the mining, agriculture, chemical, and forestry industries to generate voluntary emission reductions. By internally generating and delivering offsets directly to capped entities, we maintain tight control of regulatory compliance and eliminate brokerage fees. This structure results in high quality offsets delivered to clients at prices below market rates.
