The Faculty of Economics, University of Kragujevac, was established in 1960. The Faculty has strived at creating an important position in the country and the region by educating economists, managers, and also through encouraging scientific work of its staff. With this aim, curricula have been continuously improved in order for them to be aligned to the latest scientific and educational trends of the contemporary world. The teaching staff have participated in this ongoing improvement contributing to their own professional development and the growth of their own potentials.
During the past years 7200 students have graduated, 128 have completed an M.Sc. degree and 49 have obtained a Ph.D degree. The teaching process at the Faculty of Economics is performed by 80 teachers and associates and more than 3800 students are attending courses on undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate studies.
