Friendship is a non-governmental organisation, founded by Runa Khan in 2002, aims to help poor people in remote and unaddressed communities in Bangladesh. Recognising the broader goal of enabling these communities to improve their living conditions and gain control over their lives Friendship has developed an integrated development model which combines a number of solutions on a long-term sustainable basis across its six sectors of activity:
