Global Shapers Topluluğu, Davos toplantılarıyla ünlü World Economic Forum’un gençlik inisiyatifidir. Global Shapers genç yaşlarında başarılarıyla ön plana çıkmış, içinde yaşadıkları topluma katkıda bulunma motivasyonları yüksek olan, 20 ila 30 yaş arasındaki genç profesyonellerden oluşmaktadır. Sayıları 5000’i aşan Global Shapers üyeleri, dünya çapındaki pek çok ülkenin çeşitli şehirlerine kurulmuş olan 400’ün üzerindeki ‘Hub’ sayesinde birbirlerine bağlanmaktadır. Hub her bir şehirdeki topluluğa verilen özel bir isimdir. Gazetecilikten avukatlığa, medya alanından sivil topluma kadar pek çok farklı uzmanlık seviyesi ve sektörden oluşan üyeler, toplumları üzerinde pozitif etki yaratacak projeler üzerinde çalışmaktadırlar. Global Shapers Ankara da benzer bir vizyonla, Eylül 2014’te kurulmuştur. Ankara için önemli projeler üretmeye başlayan genç profesyoneller, gelecekte adlarından sıklıkla söz ettirecek bir sivil toplum kuruluşu olma yolunda emin adımla ilerlemektedirler.
