El 7 de Octubre de 1978 se inauguró el Hospital Clínica Kennedy (HCK). En las palabras del Dr. Teófilo Lama Pico Presidente del Grupo Hospitalario Kennedy dijo: “Formamos un equipo, remar para el mismo lado y hacia la misma orilla, ese fue el objetivo trazado y la clave del éxito para tener una clínica de alta calidad científica, y con la filosofía A LA VANGUARDIA DE LA MEDICINA DE HOY”.
En Octubre de 1999 se inauguró el Hospital Clínica Kennedy Alborada (HCKA), fue el primer hospital privado diseñado con helipuerto en Guayaquil en su construcción. Se cubrieron las necesidades de un hospital con al infraestructura mas moderna que existía en aquel momento, es el primero con cableado estructurado para sistemas de computación e Internet en todas sus áreas. En este año se cumple nuestro DECIMO ANIVERSARIO el cual será motivo de celebración.
