Die H.T.P. Motorsport GmbH wurde im Jahr 2012 als Nachfolger der Heico Motorsport GmbH gegründet. H.T.P war seit Beginn des GT-Engagements von Heico als Partner und Förderer mit in das GT3 Projekt eingebunden.
Die sportliche Leitung der personell unveränderten Mannschaft der GT-Sparte hat weiterhin Norbert Brückner, Entdecker und Förderer des DTM-Rekordchampions Bernd Schneider, inne. Norbert Brückner besitzt jahrzehntelange Erfahrung im Kart-, Formel- und Tourenwagensport. Er ist unbestritten eine der führenden Persönlichkeiten im deutschen und europäischen Motorsport was die Gebiete Fahrerscouting und – entwicklung betrifft. Sein Wissen und sein Know-how werden auf und neben der Rennstrecke von allen Teams, Fahrern und Motorsportinteressierten anerkannt und geschätzt.
Heico Motorsport engagierte sich seit 2011 unter der sportlichen Leitung von Norbert Brückner in verschiedenen nationalen und internationalen GT-Rennserien.
