Half a Mile is een samenstelling van zes gedreven muzikanten uit Zwolle en omstreken. De zussen Hanna en Susanne van Gemeren zingen al tweestemmig sinds hun jonge jaren en worden aangevuld door de broers Aart en Laurens Lameris op gitaar en bas. Wouter Raidt is enthousiaste tweede gitarist en Richard Jansen speelt de veelzijdige percussie.
De band heeft een indringende, eerlijke boodschap en deelt met passie de zoektocht naar zingeving en de Schepper in dit chaotische bestaan. De country/folk, Keltische en Oosterse invloeden in combinatie met de bands liefde voor akoestische muziek leveren een unieke en authentieke muziekstijl op.
