HALON Entertainment is a previsualization and technology company founded in 2003 by Daniel Gregoire, committed to advancing storytelling – working with filmmakers to visually see their shots before filming begins. By using a digital process where technological complexity yields to the creative process, HALON is dedicated to the art of film making, advertising and development.
At HALON, we use state-of-the-art technology for actor and camera motion-capture allowing creatives to block actors, film set-ups, explore sets and discover their virtual world in a hands-on interactive process that mirrors any real world set. Our artists have contributed to some of the biggest blockbusters of our time such as: Fox’s Avatar and Rise of the Planet of the Apes; Summit Entertainment’s Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part I; Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man 3; Paramount’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull; DreamWorks’ Kung Fu Panda, and many others.
