Healthcare Design & Construction (HDC), an Innovation Institute Enterprise Development Group Portfolio Company, was established through the acquisition of the Western Division of PDC Facilities, Inc. in March 2013. Since 1984, HDC team has focused on construction within acute care and outpatient facilities, especially through design-build delivery method. HDC team started as one of the few firms in the States offering a single-source approach to highly specialized and sensitive healthcare facility market, combined with tremendous nationwide growth in MRI diagnostic imaging facilities, our team has developed the expertise in imaging diagnostic and radiation treatment facilities. Continued development from the expertise in imaging facilities has led our team to expand into other highly technical spaces, such as surgery suites, cardiac catheterization labs, or NICU suites. Currently, HDC is working in 10 locations throughout California and Texas.
