Hideaway Youth Project Limited

Hideaway Youth Project has been working with disadvantaged and vulnerable young people in the Moss Side area of Manchester since 1965 .Throughout its history it has endeavored to respond to the needs of local young people and to adapt its services to meet those needs. Hideaway operates in the Youth Work Sector. Youth work helps young people learn about themselves, others and society through activities that combine enjoyment, challenge, learning and achievement. It is a developmental process that starts in places and at times when young people themselves are ready to engage, learn and make use of it. Hideaway is a specialised organisation working with young people aged 11-25 years old. The majority of our staff are grown from the community and have come through the Hideaways service, progressing from users to volunteers to paid members of staff. Hideaway offers a universal and targeted youth service.
